Both Cold Stone Creamery at 4115 Town Center Way in Livingston and the Cold Stone Creamery in West Orange are no longer certified by the Vaad. Any item bought from Cold Stone Creamery at 4115 Town Center Way in Livingston before October 30, 2008 at 4 PM is Vaad certified.

The new Glatt Kosher Subway located at 523 South Livingston Ave, Livingston NJ is open as of Thursday, November 15, 2007. Their phone number is 973-992-7827. Current hours are 10am-9pm. All meat is Rubashkins except for Steak and Roast Beef.

As of 5 pm Friday October 19, 2007, Zayda’s Butcher located at 309 Irvington Ave, South Orange, NJ will cease to be under the certification of the Vaad Hakashrus of Metrowest. All products and items produced, packaged or sold before that time are under the Vaad’s supervision when bearing the label with the Vaad’s name on it. Products purchased after this time are not under Vaad supervision regardless of the labeling. This action is being taken at the owner’s request and for reasons unrelated to any Kashrus factor. The Vaad appreciates the sincere effort and cooperation extended by Zayda’s throughout the entire period that the store was under our supervision.
